2016 Youth Wildlife Art Contest Accepting Entries

Pennsylvania’s young artists, in grades 6 through 12, are being encouraged by the Game Commission to participate in the 2016 Youth Wildlife Art Contest. Entries are due January 29. Middle and High School categories will be judged separately. First place to Honorable Mention awards will be provided in the Middle School category and the High School category. Prizes include: First Place $500; Second Place $300: Third Place $100; Fourth Place $50; Honorable Mention: Certificate The annual Youth Wildlife Art Contest focuses on Pennsylvania’s Endangered and Threatened Species. Submitted artwork may be horizontal or vertical on 12-inch x 9-inch heavy weight paper, which is no more than a quarter inch thick. Accepted mediums include oils, pastels, color pencils, water colors, acrylic, charcoal, graphite, black and white or color.
