The Senate Wednesday voted to send House Bill 941 (Regan-R-Cumberland) to the Governor that includes a provision allowing DEP’s Citizens Advisory Council to independently hire its own Executive Director.

The bill also makes the Secretary of DEP an ex officio member of the Council.
