Keep PA Beautiful Accepting Entries For Great American Cleanup Of PA Video Contest

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is now accepting entries for its annual Great American Cleanup of PA Video Contest.  The deadline for entries is June 3.

To participate, send Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful a 2-minute video of your Great American Cleanup of PA event showing individuals, groups, children, and adults having fun making your communities clean and beautiful! Be sure to mention the Great American Cleanup of PA in your video.

Cash prizes, sponsored by the PA Waste Industries Association, are $200 for the winning entry and $100 each for two runners up.

“We are excited to provide this opportunity for community groups and individuals to showcase their local programs. A lot of hard work and partnerships go into the Great American Cleanup of PA events and that’s what we want to see!” says Shannon Reiter, president of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.  “The Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful video contest is a way to gain recognition and build support for local programs.”

Help Choose The Winner

Help choose the winners by liking your favorite video on the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Facebook page. Voting begins on June 13 and concludes on June 23 at 3:00 p.m..  Winners will be announced June 24.

Sign up now for the 2016 Great American Cleanup of PA and set up your own cleanup and beautification event from March 1 to May 31.  During this period, registered events can receive free trash bags, gloves, and safety vests from PennDOT district offices as supplies last.
