The Department of Environmental Protection is accepting applications through April 6 for Solid Waste and Resource Recovery Development Grants.

DEP is particularly interested in projects to implement unique and innovative curbside collection programs for food waste that present environmentally sound alternatives to landfilling.

Eligible applicants include counties, municipalities and municipal authorities.
