PA Environment Digest covered hundreds of stories during 2005, but none were as inspiring as those that recognized individuals, businesses and organizations for their positive efforts to improve the environment.

Teachers, students, farmers, business people, public agencies, watershed associations and nonprofit groups all took the initiative to make their habitats better.
