Schuylkill Highlands Mini Grant Applications Due May 19 In Southeast PA

The Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape Initiative is now accepting applications for its Mini Grant Program through May 19.

Grants will be made to municipalities, non-profits, watershed associations, and friends of State Parks and Forest groups with a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status, and who are registered with the Dept. of State Bureau of Charitable Organizations.

The intent is to advance targeted project work within the Schuylkill Highlands geography that support the goals, project focus and vision of the Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape.

Grant awards for selected projects cannot exceed $15,000, and small projects are encouraged.

The Schuylkill Highlands includes the majority of the Schuylkill River Watershed in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Lebanon and Montgomery counties.  Please check with the Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Initiative to make sure your project is within the Schuylkill Highlands geography.
