The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay Trees for Tomorrow Program is now accepting applications for grants for native tree planting and maintenance projects that enhance water quality in Franklin, Dauphin and Cumberland counties.

Applications are due April 30.

Non-profit organizations, municipalities, municipal authorities, and other civic institutions are eligible to receive funding.

Projects may include riparian buffers, street tree plantings, park or other open space plantings, or tree maintenance projects. Grant applications that enhance and expand urban tree canopies, riparian buffers, and/or address other water quality concerns will be prioritized.

Grants are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Projects not funded during this grant cycle will be addressed on a rolling basis during future grant cycles.
