Mehoopany Creek Watershed Assn. April 16 Trout Day Fundraiser In Wyoming County

The Mehoopany Creek Watershed Association in Wyoming County has scheduled its Annual Trout Day Fundraiser on April 16 at Forkston’s Four Corners  at PA 87 and Windy Valley Road.  From 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the Association will be selling soup, wimpies, hot dogs and sweets along with MCWA logo clothing.

“Our Annual Trout Day fundraiser benefits MCWA’s water quality work to improve trout and aquatic life habitat,” says MCWA spokesperson, Rusty Bennett. The MCWA has been liming designated areas within the Mehoopany Creek Watershed a number of years in order to improve stream ph levels.

“We’ve got good food, good fun, good fishin, good friends, conversation and fishing stories, stop by meet old and new friends and share a tale,” invites Bennett.
