Reminder: Last Chance To Enter Great American Cleanup Of PA Video Contest

Keep PA Beautiful is reminding participates in the 2016 Great American Cleanup of PA they have until June 3 to enter their 2-minute videos of people making their communities clean and beautiful in this year’s Video Contest.

“This is a great opportunity to showcase your local programs and partnerships and illustrate just how much fun it can be to join together to improve your community,” said Shannon Reiter, President of Keep PA Beautiful.  

The Department of Environmental Protection sponsors the video contest with cash prizes offered by the PA Waste Industries Association. The winning entry receives $200 and two runners up each receive $100.

Voting Starts June 13

Help choose the winners by liking your favorite video on the Keep PA Beautiful Facebook page. Voting begins on June 13 and concludes on June 23 at 3:00 p.m.  Winners will be announced June 24.

Electronic submissions should be sent to: slarson@keeppabeautiful.org with GACofPA Video 2016 in the subject line.

The 2016 Great American Cleanup of PA ends May 31. During this period, registered events can receive free trash bags, gloves, and safety vests from PennDOT district offices as supplies last. Click Here to register your events or find out where you can volunteer for an existing event.
