House Committee Likely To Meet June 13 On Senate Clean Power Plan Review Bill

The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee is likely to meet on June 13 to consider at least one bill-- Senate Bill 1195 (White-R-Indiana) further providing for the review of any plan developed by DEP to implement the EPA Clean Power Climate Plan.

The meeting is likely because House Majority Leader David Reed (R-Indiana) said Friday in a memo to members of the House Senate Bill 1195 is due to be considered on the House Floor June 14.

The Senate last week passed the bill 47 to 3 after Senate Republicans and Gov. Wolf worked out amendments to the bill.

The location and time of the meeting have yet to be announced.

Rep. John Maher (R-Allegheny) serves as Majority Chair of the House Environmental Committee and can be contacted by sending email to: jmaher@pahousegop.com.  Rep. Greg Vitali (D-Delaware) serves as Minority Chair and can be contacted by sending email to: gvitali@pahouse.net.
