Center for Rural PA Awards Grants for Energy, Sewage, Other Projects

The Center for Rural Pennsylvania, chaired by Sen. Gordner (R-Columbia), announced the award of their 2006 grants to a dozen different projects and will shortly announce the opening of its 2007 application round. Projects included a protocol for determining the feasibility of installing wind energy facilities in rural communities, rural drinking water quality and a study of failing septic systems.
