The Manada Conservancy will host a Swatara Creek Water Quality Assessment Program for students in grades 6 to 8 on August 16 at 3:00 at Camp Catherine, 1275 Swatara Road, Hershey, Dauphin County.

Join us for a fun hands-on assessment of the Swatara Creek with Jennifer Fetter, Penn State Watershed/Youth Development Educator.

Make scientific observations about the water and surrounding flora and fauna. Collect and analyze creek water samples.

Attendees should wear a shirt, shorts and fitted shoes. No bathing suits, bare feet or flip flops. Participants will get wet, so please consider bringing a towel.

Can YOU judge a creek by its water?  Join us and find out!

Manada Conservancy’s education programs are free and open to the public. Space is limited.  Please register by sending email to: office@manada.org or call 717-566-4122.
