Bills Introduced

The following bills of interest were introduced this week--

Exempts Religious Schools, Churches From Safe Drinking Water: House Bill 2249 (Zimmerman-R-Lancaster) would exempt religious schools, churches and business from meeting Safe Drinking Water Act requirements when they are relying on their own well for water (sponsor summary).

Increasing Number Of Deer: House Bill 2083 (Maloney-R-Berks) adopting state policies to increase the number of white tail deer (sponsor summary).

Performance-Based Budgeting: Senate Bill 1341 (Mensch-R-Montgomery) requiring state agency to justify their budgets from dollar one in a performance-based budget program reviewed by a new independent board and the Independent Fiscal Office (sponsor summary).
