CBF-PA Hosts Heroes On The Water Kayaking, Fly Fishing Event Aug. 27 Wrightsville

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation-PA will host a Heroes on the Water kayaking and fly fishing event August 27 to celebrate veterans and the beauty of the Susquehanna River at Shank’s Mare Outfitters in Wrightsville, York County starting at 1:00 p.m.

Veterans, community members, paddlers, fishermen, friends, and families are all welcome to discover and appreciate the Susquehanna from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Kayaks will be provided at no cost.

At 5:30, the band will kick off the evening and we will enjoy a CBF reception with dinner and drinks.

All activities are free and open to the public. The dinner/open bar is available for just a small $5 fee.
