Aug. 2 Environmental Justice Board Meeting Features Political Action Group On Climate

The DEP Environmental Justice Advisory Board meets August 2 in Pittsburgh and among the items on the agenda is a presentation on renewable energy and environmental justice by NextGen Climate, a political action group started by Tom Steyer in San Francisco which provides support to candidates on climate issues. Also on the agenda are presentations on the Shell ethane plant in Beaver County, by DEP’s Safe Drinking Water Program and discussion of Board strategic priorities for the future.
