On August 9, the Philadelphia Office of Sustainability will host an open house for residents and partners to preview the updated Greenworks Sustainability Plan.

GreenWorks was launched in 2009 to provide a comprehensive sustainability plan for Philadelphia in the areas of energy, environment, equity, economy and engagement.

Throughout the spring, the Office of Sustainability solicited ideas on where the public wanted to go with the Greenworks Plan.

During the open house, the Office will ask for your help in identifying specific actions that individuals, communities, and institutions can take to further each of the Greenworks focus areas.

The event will be held in the Philadelphia Municipal Services Building, Innovation Lab, 1401 JFK Blvd. 16th Floor from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

From 4:00 to 4:30 there will be an overview of the updated plan and new areas of focus.  From 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. there will be an opportunity for informal feedback sessions by topics of interest.
