Senate Democratic Policy Committee Sets Sept. 7 Hearing On Electronic Billboards

The Senate Democratic Policy Committee will hold a hearing September 7 on Senate Bill 1301 (Dinniman-D-Chester) which would toughen restrictions on digital and electronic billboards (sponsor summary). The hearing is being conducted at the request of Sen. Andy Dinniman the bill’s prime sponsor. Among those expected to testify are: Ernie Holling, president, Chester County Association of Township Officials; Ann Feldman, Downingtown Borough Council; Phil Dague, Downingtown Borough Council; Blair Fleischmann, executive director, S.A.V.E.; Mary Tracy, president, Scenic America; Attorney Anthony Verwey, Unruh Turner Burke & Frees; and Bobbi Jo Broomell, Downingtown resident. The hearing will be held in the 4th Floor Greenwood Room (Room 400) at the Chester County Intermediate Unit, 455 Boot Road, Downingtown, Chester County starting at 11:00 a.m. Sen. Lisa Boscola (D-Lehigh) serves as Chair of the Committee. |
