Call 1-800-346-4242 weekdays from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to learn about disposal options for electronics, tires, household chemicals, televisions and more. After-hour calls are returned the following business day. Click Here for more information -- Delaware County Stream Stewards Expands Program Thanks To Boeing Grant PRC recently received a grant to continue its successful Stream Stewards program, which PRC piloted in 2014 with support from the Boeing Foundation. The program provides free hands-on science education to middle and high school students in Delaware County. Tackle Piles of Paper: Paper accounts for 25% of waste in landfills, so make a point to combine leftover notebook paper into three-ring binders. 2. Reuse Whenever Possible: Mechanical pencils, binders, folders and numerous other school supplies can find new life in the new school year. 3. Get Creative: Use leftover crayons for a variety of craft projects — from suncatchers to holiday ornaments — or donate them to a number of charities.
