Chesapeake Bay Strategy Hearing Oct. 18 By Senate Environmental & Ag Committees

The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee and Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee have scheduled a joint hearing on October 18 on Pennsylvania’s strategy for meeting Chesapeake Bay Watershed cleanup requirements. The Committees are specifically interested in opinions on Pennsylvania’s Chesapeake Bay Restoration Strategy and any potential funding sources to meet future mandates. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation-PA will be among the witnesses providing testimony. The hearing will be in Hearing Room 1 of the North Office Building starting at 9:30 a.m. Sen.
