Once again topping the list of accomplishments for Senate Republicans is stopping the enactment of “massive, broad-based tax increases” by Gov. Wolf for the second year in a row.  Also on the list were--

-- Pension Reform passing three pension reforming bills, including Senate Bill 1 vetoed by the Governor;

-- Liquor Reform; and

-- Legalizing Medical Marijuana.

Only two environment-related laws made it on the list for this year: Act 52 of 2016 killing DEP’s conventional oil and gas regulations update and Act 57 of 2016 putting in place more roadblocks to adopting a Pennsylvania plan to comply with the EPA Clean Power Climate Plan.

There was only one environmental law on the list for 2015: Act 47 of 2015 authorizing the reuse of treated mine water in drilling operations.
