On November 28 the Capital Resource Conservation and Development Council will host a  Small Farm Business Marketing: Measuring your Return-on-Investment (ROI) webinar from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The webinar will help participants address how to go beyond sales numbers and evaluate marketing dollars spent, prepare and interpret return-on-investment calculations, and apply the feedback to improving a 2017 marketing plan.

The webinar presenter is Laura Gifford who has over 12 years of experience in developing plans & materials for small businesses and aims to empower business owners to understand the impact of their marketing efforts.

In addition to being the founder of The Laramie Group, Gifford collaborates with the Small Business Development Center at Shippensburg University to host workshops and to serve as consultant for small businesses seeking planning, marketing or development assistance.

Farmers and small businesses using food products can tap into the resources of SBDC’s throughout the state.

Webinar participants are encouraged to gather business information to actively work on their evaluations during the presentation in real-time, to help begin their plan development.

Follow-up materials will also be provided for use after the webinar. All tactics and worksheets provided can be tailored to meet a limited timeline and budget.

This online session is the second in a series of marketing webinars hosted by Capital RC&D featuring Laura Gifford, designed to help farm business owners create and implement business tools like a marketing plan.

The first webinar, Marketing and Branding for Small Farm Businesses, was recorded and may be viewed via the Capital RC&D website.
