The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the December 3 PA Bulletin giving conditional Section 401 Water Quality Certification for three hydropower projects at locks and dams on the Monongahela River in Greene and Washington counties.  (PA Bulletin page 7592-7597)

They include these projects--

-- 12-megawatt project on Gray’s Landing Lock and Dam in Greene County;

-- 12-megawatt project on Monongahela Lock & Dam No. 4 in Washington County; and

-- 13-megawatt project on Maxwell Lock and Dam in Washington County.
