Volunteers have always been important to conservation. If you participate as a citizen scientist in Audubon’s Christmas Bird Count from December 14 to January 5, you’ll be adding to data collected for more than a century! Researchers, conservation biologists, wildlife agencies, and other interested individuals use the data to study the long-term health and status of bird populations across North America.
