DEP Issues Final Water Quality Cert. For Rover Pipeline, Washington County

The Department of Environmental Protection published a notice in the December 17 PA Bulletin announcing it has approved the final Water Quality Certification for the Rover - Burgettstown Lateral Pipeline Project in Smith and Hanover townships, Washington County (page 7892). The 10.4 mile, 36-inch natural gas pipeline will cross 31 streams and 7 wetlands and includes a new compressor station. DEP must still issue the individual earth disturbance, water obstruction and encroachment permits for the project. For more information, contact DEP’s Southwest Regional Office at 412-442-4314.
