Joint Conservation Committee Issues Green Paper On Food Waste

The Joint Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee Thursday issued another in its series of Green Paper monographs, this time on food waste.

The issue brief highlights national trends in food disposal, along with strategies employed at the federal and state level to reduce the level of food waste being unnecessarily directed into landfills.

A copy of the Green Paper on food waste is available online.

Sen. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) served as Chair of the Joint Conservation Committee last session.
