PennTAP Pollution Prevention, Lean Manufacturing In Food Industry Webinar Jan. 19

The PA Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP) will host a free webinar on January 19 on Pollution Prevention and Lean Manufacturing in the Food Industry from Noon to 1:00 p.m.

PennTAP will review the common pollution prevention measures available within the food processing industry. PennTAP uses a mix of traditional pollution prevention tools and lean manufacturing techniques to maximize savings for Pennsylvania companies. The areas of focus will include food waste, solid waste, water, and energy.

The webinar presenter will be Royal Smith, PennTAP Senior Technical Advisor, who can be contacted by sending email to: royal@psu.edu.
