PA Lake Management Society Annual Conference March 1-2 In State College

The PA Lake Management Society 2017 Conference will be held March 1-2 at the Ramada Conference Center in State College.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Rob Richardson is a Professor and Extension Specialist at North Carolina State University covering the areas of aquatic and non-cropland weed science.

His project conducts research on the biology, ecology, and management of weeds in these settings in order to protect human uses and ecological functions. A large portion of his program has been dedicated to research and management of monoecious hydrilla.

He currently provides guidance to aquatic plant management programs across the United States and internationally.

Rob is Past President of the Aquatic Plant Management Society and a member of the Weed Science Society of America Board of Directors. He has also served as Editor of the Journal of Aquatic Plant Management.
