The 2017 Statewide Greenways and Trails Summit will be held September 24-26 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Reading, Berks County. Every other year, the PA Recreation and Park Society and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources join forces with a local host committee to present the state Greenways and Trails Summit. The Summit provides trail professionals, volunteers, and advocates with the essential information needed to build, manage, and maintain trails throughout the Commonwealth. It garners approximately 200-250 attendees and has been held in a number of locations with a variety of themes and sessions. Call For Presentations Conference organizers have issued a call for presentations by single speakers, panel presentations, facilitated roundtables and hands-on demonstrations.
