The Environmental Quality Board published notice in the February 25 PA Bulletin seeking comments on a proposed regulation eliminating the low-RVP summer gasoline requirement in the Pittsburgh Region.  Three public hearings are scheduled in the notice for March 28 (Pittsburgh), March 29 (Norristown) and March 30 (Harrisburg).

Note: DEP published 65 pages of public notices related to proposed and final permit and approval/disapproval actions in the February 25 PA Bulletin - pages 1168 to 1233-- nearly half of the Bulletin.

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the February 25 PA Bulletin of the proposed conditional state Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers nationwide permits related to discharges of dredged and fill materials into the waters of the Commonwealth.

DEP published notices in the February 25 PA Bulletin giving formal public notice they issued the county by county permits for the Mariner East 2 Pipeline Project (starting on page 1212).

DEP published notice in the February 25 PA Bulletin giving formal public notice they issued the Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the PennEast Pipeline Project (page 1218).

DEP published notice in the February 25 PA Bulletin granting Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the Gray’s Landing Lock and Dam 12-megawatt hydroelectric project (page 1224) and the Point Marion Lock and Dam 5-megawatt hydroelectric project (page 1229) both on the Monongahela River in Greene and Fayette counties.

DEP and PennVEST published notice in the February 25 PA Bulletin approving the environmental assessments for wastewater projects to be considered for funding in Erie and Luzerne counties.
