The U.S.D.A.  Natural Resources Conservation Service-PA Office will hold a workshop March 17 on the Regional Conservation Partnership Program Grant Program.

Partners preparing an application for the RCPP or partners that are considering applying, as well as interested public are invited to attend.

The Regional Conservation Partnership Program offers new opportunities for NRCS, conservation partners and agricultural producers to work together to harness innovation, expand the conservation mission and demonstrate the value and efficacy of voluntary, private lands conservation.

More than $250 million is available nationwide through the RCPP program in fiscal year 2018 for projects across the United States that improve the nation’s water quality, combat drought, enhance soil health, support wildlife habitat and protect agricultural viability.

The workshop will be held at the NRCS State Office, 359 East Park Drive in Harrisburg from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  The workshop is also available by conference call: 1-888-844-9904 with access code: 694-1559.

Pre-applications for the Regional Conservation Partnership Program Grant Program are due April 21.
