The Susquehanna River Basin Commission Thursday approved 13 water withdrawal requests, adopted its FY 2018 budget and set a 5-year docket term for water withdrawals related to unconventional natural gas drilling operations.

SRBC’s voting commissioners and alternates were:  Virginia Kearney, SRBC Chair and Deputy Director of Water Management Administration, Maryland Department of the Environment; Brig. General William Graham, SRBC Vice Chair, Commander and Division Engineer, North Atlantic Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Paul D’Amato, Director, Region 8, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation; and Jennifer Orr, Director of Compacts and Commissions Office, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
