DEP Revises Priorities, Deadline for Solid Waste-Resource Recovery Grants

The Department of Environmental Protection this week published revised priorities and a deadline of June 5 for submitting grant applications under the Solid Waste Resource Recovery Grant Program.

DEP will now give priority to funding projects that demonstrate unique and innovative energy recovery technology in addition to curbside collection programs for food waste recycling.

DEP also removed the $250,000 cap on grants saying instead it would reserve the right to fund all or none of a grant application.
