The Eastern PA Coalition for Abandoned Mine Reclamation, Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy will present a special program July 20 on The German Energy Transition Away From Coal: Perspectives for Pennsylvania in Wilkes-Barre.

Timon Wehnert, a European Energy Policy Expert with the Wuppertal Institute, will be the keynote speaker, followed by a panel discussion by regional environmental and economic development leaders.

The program will be held at the Stark Learning Center, Room 101, at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
