The PA Recreation and Parks Society is now accepting registrations for the 2017 PA Greenways and Trails Summit on September 24-26 at the DoubleTree Hilton in Reading, Berks County.

Every other year, PRPS and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources join forces with a local host committee to present the state Greenways and Trails Summit.

The Summit provides trail professionals, volunteers, and advocates with the essential information needed to build, manage, and maintain trails throughout the Commonwealth. It garners over 225 attendees and has been held in a number of locations with a variety of themes and sessions.

The host organizations for this year’s Summit are the Schuylkill River National & State Heritage Area and Berks Nature.
