PA Resources Council Holds First Reuse Fest In Lawrence County Sept. 30

The PA Resources Council is expanding it Reuse Fest to Lawrence County on September 30 to promote the donation and reused and recycling of items.

Reuse Fest is a one-day drop off event that diverts materials from the trash to be reused by local Pennsylvania nonprofits. Community members are invited to bring their pre-loved and gently used items to be donated instead of placed in the trash.

These donations are then given a second life by local nonprofits to be used to make positive change in Pennsylvania!

PRC will be collecting gently used pet supplies, medical supplies, household items, books, DVDs, CDs, kitchen & bath items, and much more!

Donated materials will be used by Construction Junction, Goodwill of Youngstown, Lawrence County Humane Society, and UPMC MERP!

Reuse Fest is held in partnership with Lawrence County and Tri-County CleanWays Hard to Recycle Event and through the generous support of UPMC.

The Reuse Fest will be held at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds in New Castle from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
