Technical Guidance & Permits

Note: DEP published 54 pages of public notices related to proposed and final permit and approval/ disapproval actions in the August 12 PA Bulletin - pages 4716 to 4770.

The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the August 12 PA Bulletin it is rescinding the Final Trading Of Nutrient and Sediment Reduction Credits technical guidance.  The guidance was replaced by 2010 additions to 25 Pa. Code Section 96.8.  Questions should be directed to Theia Hofstetter, Nutrient Credit Trading Program at 717-787-6744 or send email to: RA_EPPANutrientTrad@pa.gov.

DEP published notice in the August 12 PA Bulletin of changes to its list of companies certified to perform radon-related activities (PA Bulletin page 4767).

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources published notice in the August 12 PA Bulletin of a proposed land exchange in Lycoming and Sullivan counties proposing to exchange 45.6 acres of subsurface (mineral rights) to a private landowner in Fox Township, Sullivan County for 55 acres of subsurface rights beneath existing state forest land in McNett Township, Lycoming County.  The subsurface rights gained are beneath the Susquehanna-New York railroad grade.
