The 5th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum hosted by the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed will be held October 17-18 at the Skytop Lodge in Skytop, Monroe County.  Early bird pricing ends September 15.

The Forum will include informative presentations, interactive discussions, and visits to nearby sites that highlight conservation projects and the local environment, as well as workshops for a more practical and in-depth exploration of key topics.

The first day will provide an opportunity to learn more about the progress being made in developing the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel and nonprofit partners working in the watershed.

Participants will then have an opportunity to go out into the field and learn about some of the conservation work taking place in the region, as well as explore the beautiful natural resources of the Pocono Mountains.

Finally, at the end the day with a dinner reception and music, during which participants can network, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy the evening with one another.

The second day with informal breakfast roundtable discussions on hot topics in the basin, followed by two breakout sessions and a series of workshops.

In the Second Breakout session, participants will learn about specific case studies in the watershed that can inform the development and implementation of the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program.

The Third Breakout Session will give attendees an opportunity to learn about and engage in discussion around specific policy issues affecting the watershed.

Finally, participants can end the day by selecting a workshop that best aligns with their professional or organizational needs and interests.
