Federal Flood Insurance Program Extended To December 8

On September 8, President Trump signed legislation passed by both houses of Congress that extends the National Flood Insurance Program’s authorization for three months. It previously had been set to expire September 30.

Congress must now reauthorize the NFIP by no later than December 8, 2017.
