Morris Arboretum Tree Canopy Conference: Green Infrastructure In The Urbanized Environment Oct. 13
Photo

The Morris Arboretum School of Arboriculture is hosting a Tree Canopy Conference: Green Infrastructure In The Urbanized Environment at Haverford College in Delaware County on October 13.

These are challenging times for the communities responsible for maintaining a healthy tree canopy. There seems to be an alarming spread of blights, infestations, and extreme weather affecting our trees resulting in a diminishing tree canopy.

Leafy, arching canopies of elm, ash, oak, and London plane trees over our streets and parks are declining.

Park, municipal, and college campus managers, must adapt and learn from other professionals who will be sharing their successful tree canopy strategies during this day-long conference.

The cost is $135, includes lunch, break refreshments, and reception. Eligible for 5 CEUs for ISA Certified Arborists.

To register or for more information visit the Tree Canopy Conference webpage.  Questions should be directed by email to: education@morrisarboretum.org or call 215-247-5777.
