House Preparedness Committee Holds Info Meeting On Electric Grid Resiliency Nov. 15

The House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee is scheduled to hold an informational meeting on November 15 to hear an update from PECO on resiliency in electric grid. This is the second meeting held by the Committee to gather perspectives on House Bill 1412 (Barrar-R-Delaware) that would encourage the use of microgrids and energy grid storage capabilities to improve grid resiliency during emergencies (sponsor summary). The meeting will be held in Room 140 starting at 10:00. House Committee meetings are typically webcast through the Republican Caucus website. Rep.
