|
The Green Building Alliance and its partners will host the Pittsburgh Living Future Collaborative on December 5 at the Frick Environmental Center, 2005 Beechwood Boulevard in Pittsburgh from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. The Collaborative will advance work throughout the region that promotes the Living Future Challenge as a philosophy, certification framework, and advocacy tool for the healthiest and highest performing buildings, products, and communities. The Collaborative seeks to build a local community through hosting networking events, sharing best practices and knowledge, and providing educational opportunities. The program features presentations and input from attendees, including: a welcome by Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy; brief introduction to the Living Future Challenge; presentation of upcoming education and networking events planned for 2018; and an opportunity to share how you would like to be involved/contribute to the Collaborative. A tour of the Frick Environmental Center, which this week achieved LEED Platinum certification, will also be available. Click Here for all the details and to register.
