Senate Environmental Committee Sets Hearings on Mercury Emissions Reduction

The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee announced this week it will hold two days of hearings on the issue of reducing mercury emission reductions from coal-fired power plants.

The hearings will be held April 25 and May 2.

The agendas have not yet been posted, but will be available through the Committee’s webpage.

The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee held a hearing on the mercury issue in February.
