EPA has issued the official solicitation notice for the 2005 Environmental Education Grants Program published in the Federal Register on September 15. In addition, grant solicitation period notifications have been distributed to almost 400 environmental educators and organizations throughout the region.

Grant proposals are due by November 15.

EPA traditionally appropriates close to $3 million annually for this program, but since the appropriation for the 2005 grant program is yet to be determined, the notice advises potential grant applicants to periodically refer to the Environmental Education website for updated information.
