Feb. 23 Hearing On Proposed RACT II Air Quality Plan For NRG Shawville Power Plant, Clearfield County

The Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public hearing on the RACT II Air Quality Plan for the NRG Shawville Generating Station in Clearfield County on February 23, if a hearing is requested. (Jan. 13 PA Bulletin, page 353) The facility converted from coal to natural gas. The hearing will be held a DEP’s Northcentral Regional Office, 208 West Third Street in Williamsport starting at 10:00. To request a hearing, to register to speak at a hearing, or to inquire if a hearing will be held, contact Megan Lehman at 570-327-3659.
