The Department of Environmental Protection is now accepting applications for the Mine Map Grant Program to fund the inventory, scan, georeference and vectorize of mine maps and data. (formal notice)

The deadline for applications is February 15.  Up to $2.25 million will be provided over a 3-year period for this program with a minimum grant award of $300,000.

The grants are being made under DEP’s Coal and Clay Mine Subsidence Insurance Program.
