The Chesapeake Bay Trust is soliciting proposals for its 2006 Pioneer Grants Program which are due May 19.

The Pioneer Grants Program is designed to encourage and promote innovative ideas, creative partnerships, and cutting-edge projects that advance Bay restoration. This year the Pioneer Grants Program will focus on best management practices in agriculture and land development.

Grants of up to $150,000 will be awarded.
