The Department of Environmental Protection published notice in the February 10 PA Bulletin inviting comments on proposed changes to the Chapter 102 Erosion and Sediment Permits for the Sunoco Mariner East II Pipeline in Chester and Delaware counties.  (PA Bulletin Page 949)

The proposed changes are in response to concerns raised by Aqua America regarding potential impacts of the construction method on its Hillside Drive production well.

Sunoco is proposing to to an open trench installation with 5 conventional bore sections and one short HDD to deal with this concern.

DEP will accept comments on the proposed permit changes until March 12.  Check the PA Bulletin notice for additional information.  (PA Bulletin Page 949)
