The PA Resources Council and Litter? Not in Philly are partnering with the Clean Air Council and Philadelphia’s running community for Plogging Week April 9 to 15.
Plogging takes the Swedish trend of picking up litter while running to Philly's streets.
Plogging week aims to create awareness around the effects of litter on our neighborhoods and environment.
All are welcome to join Philadelphia’s Running Groups as they clean up city streets during their usual weekly runs.
The West Philly Runners are kicking off a week of Plogging beginning with a run on April 4. Link to the Facebook announcement for the event.
All runners (and walkers) are welcome to join these events. These events are part of the build up to the Clean Air Council’s annual Earth Day run – this year on April 22.
Check out the full schedule of events for the week of April 9th.
