3 Rivers Wet Weather and its partners are hosting a How Does Your Rain Garden Grow? Workshop at the Green Tree Municipal Building, 10 West Manilla Avenue in Pittsburgh from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

This workshop focuses on planting and maintenance techniques to help ensure that your plants are healthy and maintenance systems are simple and practical.

Plants are a key component of rain garden and bioretention systems, providing evapotranspiration of stormwater, anchoring the soil, and making the stormwater management feature an attractive amenity.

The presenter will be Jay Bell, PCH, Business Development Manager, Silvis Group Landscaping.  He has a B.S. in Landscape Contracting from Penn State and is a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist.
