PA No-Till Alliance Summer Soil Health Field Day July 26 In Danville, Montour County

The Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance will hold its Summer Soil Health Field Day on July 26 at Don Cotner Farms, 127 Rushtown Road in Danville, Montour County from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Participants will hear presentations and discussions on a variety of topics, including--

-- Interpreting the new soil health tests;

-- Rainfall simulator demonstrations

-- Differences in soil water retention between cover crops

-- Cover crop test plots

-- Infiltration rings

-- What’s New? A Farmer Panel
